    Greenville, NC - A Great Place to Invest in Real Estate

    Greenville, North Carolina is located about 60 miles East of Raleigh and about two and a half hours North of Wilmington. As a result of all the new growth over the past few years, Greenville is an excellent place to invest in real estate. Two of the primary attractions to the city are Pitt Memorial Hospital and East Carolina University. Real estate around both of these have typically increased in value over the years due to the enormous economic growth that these areas attract.

    Pitt Memorial Hospital is one of the largest, most advanced heath care centers in the region. Located in the North Western corner of the town, the hospital is located conveniently on Highway 264. One of the premier subdivisions that also serves as one of the main golfing attractions for Greenville is Ironwood Golf and Country Club. Ironwood boasts an immaculate country club with caribbean-blue ponds at the front of the neighborhood. Many amenities such as community pool and tennis courts are also offered. Homes in this neighborhood sell on average for $435,000. Many doctors live in this neighborhood because of it's quick access to the hospital.

    Another subdivision within a close proximity of the hospital is Star Hill Farms. This immaculate community showcases some of Greenville's most luxurious custom-built homes. With the average home price of $840,000, this neighborhood is full of estate sized homes full of character. Star Hill Farms has a few lots left and can accommodate homes up to 5,300 square feet.

    East Carolina University is a growing college that has a student body of about 25,000 students. This public institution is a landmark for the town and is set near the historic district of downtown Greenville. Real estate in the historic district has a taken a new interest over the last few years. An organization called Uptown Greenville has helped to create a unique downtown experience by encouraging new business growth. You can get a great deal on real estate in and around East Carolina University by shopping in the historic district next to the Tar River.

    Overall, Greenville has become of the hot spots for Eastern Carolina. With the crystal coast beaches only two hours away, you can get a great deal on real estate without the high cost of living on the coast.
